The Profile hosts Vancouver Startup Week 2017

Cowoking social business club, The Profile, opens its downtown event space in timing with Vancouver Startup Week 2017 (#VSW2017)

Doors are open and drinks are flowing and you are invited to the new Downtown location at 535 Thurlow Street where The Profile is offering a whole host of events for those in the startup sphere. Including the chance to win $100,000 for your business!

The official headquarters of VSW2017 and major events venue will be buzzing with excitement throughout the whole week, from Monday 25 till Friday 29 September.

The awesome events schedule includes; Techstars Presents – Finding & Engaging with Great Mentors (and Why it’s Important)Diversity in Business & Innovation For A Better Future and Creating A Global Center for BlockChain in BC. The full schedule is available on the #VSW2017 website where you can also get your ticket to attend, then grab your badges from VSW2017 HQ if you haven’t already. But be quick, some events have already filled up so you’ll need to book in advance to guarantee a space!

For those that were not able to grab a VSW2017 badge, you are still invited! 

Everyday of #VSW2017, there is a networking opportunity to be had at The Profile’s social happy hours, from 4pm-8pm. Yes, you heard right! The space has its own fully stocked bar with the city’s finest beers on tap.

The social happy hours also offer the chance enter the Telus Pitch elevator; a nationwide campaign that is looking for Canadian businesses to pitch to win $100,000. Come down to The Profile from 4pm-8pm, and see if you have what it takes to win!

The Profile Named Headquarters At Vancouver Startup Week 2017

August 31st, 2017, Vancouver, BC –  Vancouver Startup Week is proud to name The Profile Coworking Business Club as its official 2017 VSW Headquarters.

 

The 4th annual #VSW2017 is set to attract thousands of attendees to events across Vancouver. The week marks a celebration of the city’s innovation and technology communities, with top startups and organizations opening their doors to the public.

 

Every year, this incredible event needs a logistical homebase to coordinate dozens of events and over 100 volunteers. At the core of the hustle, The Profile – is the official Headquarters for #VSW2017.

 

The Profile has donated a complimentary one week pass to their new Downtown coworking space for all VSW badge holders. Come pick up your badges, check out the day’s events, and even stay to catch up on some work. Connect with others in The Profile’s unique lounge: Grab a coffee, beer, or glass of wine; plug in or unplug, and enjoy the space.
